Meg Griffin

Meg is the school loser trying to desperately fit in with the cool girls, or to simply just get a date. Her lack of popularity can be largely attributed to her ugliness and her blinded goal towards fitting in. The ugly outfit doesn't help either, its really hard to look good wearing such trendy-wannabe clothes no matter how beautiful you are. What would family guy without the constant jokes directed at Meg? But sometimes its just too easy.. she's not smart, funny or good looking.

Meg's Toque

Meg's hat is a pinkish purple touque that reaches just above her forehead. A pink toque is not the easiest thing to find (especially unbranded) but a good solution would be to get a normal white toque (easy to find), mix it in with some red laundry and voila! Pink toque!

Meg's Hair

The shoulder length brown hair that curls inwards is a sure hit with the 80s retro fan club. Wigs in this style aren't too hard to find. If you are blessed with straight brown hair, you could get a friend with a curling iron to curl the bottoms inwards for a more realistic effect.

Meg's Glasses

Meg's glasses are absurdly big and round, awkwardly framing her eyes. They remind me of the glasses that Sir Elton John has so kindly carried to the 21st century from the 70s. You may find it difficult to find a similar frame style at your local eyeglasses store, but try the joke store, you may have more luck there.

Meg's Shirt

Sadly, the pinkish purple t-shirt with white seams are the most creative part of Meg's whole wardrobe. The exact shirt will be very difficult to find. I would recommend getting a plain purple shirt and coloring the neck and arm seams yourself. White out would do nicely in this case, or for the cheap/lazy, white masking tape would work too, it also wouldn't ruin the ugly pink shirt. Also, as seen in one of the fan pictures, you could wear a white t-shirt under a shorter pink one, thereby having some of the white t-shirt extend out where the seams are!

Meg's Pants

Her pants are plain straight cut jeans (not curve hugging, thank goodness). They're worn a little bit baggy and a little longer to hang over her shoes slightly. Any old pair of jeans should be good enough.

Meg's Shoes

Just plain beige/rice colored shoes. No laces, no buckles, no straps. Possibly slippers.
